Finance Minister Henry Musasizi has allocated Shs 2.07 trillion to the energy sector for FY 2026/27. Uganda's Parliament has approved a 30 percent environmental levy on imported second-hand clothes and increased taxes on cement, sugar, and motorcycle registration.
